Grand Master Wai Hong:

West Coast Martial Arts Academy had the honor and priviledge of hosting a two day seminar with Grand Master Wai Hong at our Encinitas location, Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday August, 24th 2008. A good time was had by all!

GM Wai Hong is the third generation Grand Master of the Black Tiger Claw and president of the Fu Jow Pai Federation.


Grand Master Victor 'Sonny' Gascon:

West Coast Martial Arts Academy hosted an event featuring Victor 'Sonny' Gascon at our 4S Ranch Location, Saturday, July 12th, 2008 at 2:00 PM!

Well, things seemed to have gone well. The seminar got started a bit late, OK, an hour and a half late ... sorry folks. There was a group of green, brown and black belts either being recognized for current rank or testing in the presence of GM Gascon. From what we understand, all in attendance were very happy with the results.

As for the seminar itself, those we had a chance to speak with afterwards, said they had a wonderful time. GM Gascon spent about an hour talking about the history of our art, from its inception.

SiGung Bradford Namahoe, Fullerton, CA, was in attendance and put on a physical seminar immediately following, showing four or five techniques off of punches and grabs. Also, Sifu Giuseppe Aliotta added a few Hawaiian Kempo movements prior to the end of the "show" Unfortunately Professor Mike Rash was unable to attend.


RB Alive!  Street Faire


West Coast Martial Arts Academy attended the street faire in Rancho Bernardo, it was a great success. We had the opportunity to speak to many, many people in the area. Thanks to all of you for stopping by and making us feel welcome in the community. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
